[Electronics-talk] Wanting to know if anyone has any idea about an android list like the iPhone questions list or knows anything about android phones

Hey Jim,

The thing iOS users need to remember is that Android doesn't equal
iOS, meaning that they're different operating systems and things ar
oftentimes done differently. For example flicking on Android uses a
much lighter touch than on iOS and much more.

To have used iOS for a long while and then try Android for a short
time isn't the way to judge the accessibility of Android. To be fair,
one would have to use Android for just as long to be able to deliver a
valid comparison between the two operating systems. Compare it to
having used a pC for along time and then trying a Mac for a short
time. Different operating systems.

There are those who use both and they report that accessibility is
equal, with some apps working better on Android while others work
better on iOS. A person should use whichever one works for them.
Choice is good.

Here's a site which is just getting started but has some good folks
behind it who are trying to provide information for a new person to
Android in one place:

There are many Samsung Galaxy 5S users on the eyes-free list, and
there are a few on the vi-android list that I know of. One of those is
Armando Maldonado who switched from iOS to Android recently. He has
started doing some podcasts on his new adventure. Here's the download
link for the first two episodes:
