[Electronics-talk] Seeking Info about the Pen Friend

Terry,
Magnetic material is new to me. Where do you buy it? Once I did use
magnetic dymo tape for food labeling on cans, stuck the labels tomy fridge
to remind me what I needed to replace.
As for pen friend, I make a label by cutting Dymo tape and sticking it
around a rubber band. Then I stick a label on the Dymo tag, and record and,
yes, I re-record. My supply of made up tags on bands are at a corner of my
kitchen table stored in an empty coffee can.
I need to buy more labels, and I need to find out how to get more labels for
my Touch Memo, which comes manufactured in Japan. It has a louder volume
and you can erase something stored on the device by pushing certain buttons
on the unit. It will allow you to go through each recording on the device.
It has some labels with dots on them which, at times, I find easier to find
when stuck on an item, easier than the all smooth pen friend labels. Touch
Memo has some designated tags for clothing, but one can't put them in the
dryer, so I have tried them on a small selection of clothes. Brailled Dymo
tape labels do stand both the washing machine and the dryer.
Thanks for all the Iphone/Smart phone discussion, which I find helpful. My
first IPhone may be soon.
Sandy
