[Electronics-Talk] OT Information about Uber and Lift

Hi,

We just got Uber in our area. My wife and I love it! We no longer need to wait one to three hours for a cab! I understand LYFT will be in our area shortly! Yes! One needs smart phone to order ride. One doesn't need the latest, greatest IPhone to order a Uber Ride.

You cannot use a land line phone or basic cell phone, which, is probably a violation of the ADA because many blind or otherwise physically challenged folks cannot master the touchpads on a smart phone,or else cannot afford them. A new IPhone 7 costs $649, which to me is totally outrageous.
