[Electronics-Talk] Using Garage Band on the IPhone

HI Brett,

Thanks for the encouragement. Do you know which version of Garage Band you are running? I'm using whichever version was installed on the IPhone 7. I find that many of the UI elements are silent as I nnavigate over them, so I have no idea what I am touching. Also, the spreadsheet-like UI on the Live loops tab doesn't make much sense to me. A sighted friend showed me the page where one can select an instrument to play live, but the instrumenty names don't speak as I move over them.

Thanks again,
--Doug

Hi. I have just rediscovered Garage Band. I've been playing around with it for a few weeks.
There are quite a few things you can do with just the IPhone and voice over.
Create new projects, Play keyboards, guitar, strings, bass, drums, and all the instrumets live. Record and playback. Create song sections and how long they are. Use built-in loops.
So, there are quite a few things you can do. Finite editing, I'm not too sure about. Although I was able to import a sample from an mp3 I created, play it like a keyboard, and trim the sample so it fit the beat.
