[Electronics-Talk] off topic

I have an old Alva, and it works fine with Windows 7. Now my only problem
is needing a computer with a serial port to connect it to. I'm going to try
the USB to serial cable approach.
Anyway, all I had to do was tell Jaws which display I had. I'm surprised
yours isn't the same.

Dear list,
Sorry for the off topic post, but I have an Alva Sattelite 44 Braille
display that is quite a few years old and doesn't work with windows versions
past xp or later Jaws and screen reader versions. Wanted to see if anyone
could use it or donate it for parts before I got rid of it. thanks for any
help
