Leslie, here's 2 android lists and a complete informative site for android,
full of instructions, gestures and more. I think the site is equal for
android as to what the applevis site is for the iphone. I was on both these
email lists that I'm giving you the subscribing directions of, 4 years ago
when we got our modo g, and with all the helpfulness from the list members
and the android site we never caught on to that phone. When the samsung 8
was out, I got to see and explore it at the store with the sales guy putting
the screen reader on. It seemed so different frrom the modo g and it seemed
like a phone that I could learn. We didn't end up buying that samsung 8
phone, so I can't tell you how it is. I think one of the best things to do
is to look at the phones at the store and explore the phone the best you
can, and getting on these 2 list will help very much so. Here's the
information:
android users group
To join the android users group send an email to:
android-users+subscribe at groups.io
eyes-free group
while the Eyes Free email list is a high-traffic Android list, the list
members are very helpful. To subscribe to The Eyes Free email list send an
email to:
eyes-free+subscribe at googlegroups.com
The web site for Android that is similar to the Applevis site for iOS is:
http://www.inclusiveandroid.com
