Peter and all, as a person who truly needs the buttons--and also likes the
full speech capability--I would really like to get one of these Blind Shell
phones. I feel it would really be great for a person like me. But I'm
actually writing to inquire about your mentioning that you think Apple will
eventually make phones with tactile keys. Just curious: had you heard this
somewhere that it will definitely happen, or did Apple say they'd consider
it but may not really be working on it or making it a priority? I'm
wondering because this Blind Shell won't work with Verizon and it would
indeed be cool to get a more accessible android or I device that could work
for Verizon. Did anyone give any kind of target date when Apple would make
more tactile-screen phones? Right now I have this Cadence and I'm not too
fond of it, so I am strongly thinking of the Blind Shell and going with T
Mobile. I just hadn't heard that Apple is really really working on tactile
screens, and that would truly be great for me if they'd come out with one. I
know people can do all kinds of awesome things on their smart phones so
please let us know if you do hear of anything like this.
Joanne
