W	e have the Amazon Toshiba fire tv. It is
awesome, fully accessible, it even tells you when the tv is off, like you
hit the power button and it says "screen off".

Hello,

I have the same questions. Our tvs have no accessible features.

Are you all referring to general tvs or smart tvs?

Also, do all menus talk or just ones for the basic channels? I would guess
that cable menus may not speak because that is a function for your cable
provider.
Please clarify. Also, any particular
Sony model?
Does a sighted person have to enable accessibility for you?

Thanks.
Ashley

All models on or after 2017 in Phillips are accessible and they have the
wheelchair symbol on their boxes. I doubt Walmart sells anything other than
accessible Phillips models by now.
