My step daughter when she comes here uses the WhatsApp Form of keeping in touch with her brother in Columbia, utilizing video calling every day.  You see she is a nun in Eastern Canada and any form of communication with anyone outside the convent is frowned upon.  Thus when she is here like an addict getting their fix she goes nuts with the social media.
