[Electronics-Talk] Blood Pressure Monitors?

I had one back in the 80s, and it was pretty accurate.  And I'm seeing them
used more and more in doctor and dentists offices these days.
However, when I had my last procedure, an upper arm one was used.

We tried one of the wrist monitors, and found it to be very inaccurate. 
Talking to people, I gather that's often the case.
