[Fabs] What are the Bcccits and disadvantages of Baecoming a paid member!

Dear Fabs Members,

I hope everyone is getting prepared for this year's convention.  
I will be streaming it on the IBlink Radio app on my IPad.  I 
have a question for all of you.  What are the benefits and 
disadvantages of becoming a paid member? I know that posting to 
this mailing list does not qualify me as a member.  Why do we 
have to pay to join the federation?
