Thanks for sending out our pledge so all can read and learn it. 

As a the Melbourne Chapter President, we recite the pledge at each meeting.
We also say it at our conventions.

Hello everyone!
As we thrive to become an official division/chapter, there are a few things
that we should know.
For one, every chapter recites the NFB Pledge in the beginning of their
meetings along with the roll call, the presidents,secretary and treasurer
reports. As we evolve, we will do those cool things as well but for now we
will start with resiting the NFB Pledge in the beginning of our meetings
along with the roll call. Every meeting, one of the members will be asked to
recite our pledge, so I thought that since we have are meeting tomorrow (or
I guess later), I should share the NFB Pledge so everyone has something to
follow along with. Here it is:
NFB PLEDGE


I pledge to participate actively

*In the efforts of the National Federation of the Blind *

*To achieve Equality, Opportunity, *

*And Security for the blind;*

*To support the policies and programs of the Federation;*

*And to abide by its constitution.*


*Can't wait to see and talk to you all at our meeting tomorrow!*
