[Faith-talk] Blindness and church

Debbie,

I'm with you totally. Since moving here to Nebraska to a church
where only the old hymns and gospel songs are sung, I have so much
more peach. In fact, everyone stays in the sanctuary through the
whole of all our services, which I believe helps the young people to
be more deeply grounded in the Word, and in their knowledge of their
Lord, when they finally accept Jesus as their Saviour.

We are only separated by age during our Sunday School time, and there
is no discussion for us to share our ignorance; we are taught by a
very godly man. I'm thrilled to be rid of the inner turmoil over the
music, and I have been blessed to learn more hymns and gospel songs
than I ever knew existed! Much of the new music is loud, shallow and
repetitive.

Now, don't you all email me privately, or email this list to tell me
that you love the new music. That's your choice, and this is mine! Smile.

Blessings,

Linda
