[Faith-talk] The true meaning of Matthew, 24:14

Joshua, If they see signs of earthly things and do not believe then how will
they believe in heavenly things?

Do you know how many people are skeptical about healing. Even in Jesus' day
people did not believe that he was the Lord and Savior. Why should they
believe at the time of healing?

One thing that has always bothered me is when people say "the first thing
you will see is Jesus."

I already see Jesus. I see Him in the daily happenings of this life. It
means little to me to be able to see His face because I don't desire to see.

I have a belief that we will not see in the way that sighted people
understand sight at the time of the coming of Jesus and the new creation. I
believe we will see with a supernatural and spiritual equity heretofore not
understood.

I have been told that the fact that I function in a sighted world where
skepticism regarding blindness abounds, that I am an inspiration. I have
been told that people can see Christ working in and through me and that this
blesses them. I think my character, personality and demeanor is a great
testimony to the fact that God is real and that He is on the throne.

Let your life, countenance, perseverance and love for your fellow man and
woman be your light and testimony.

I am not an unbeliever in the fact that miracles exists today. I firmly
believe that they do but as Jesus said, is it easier to believe that sins
can be forgiven or easier to believe that the lame can get up and walk?

Most people have a problem believing that their past actions can be forgiven
and that they can be made whole. They may believe that god works through
others but not through them. This is why it is important for us to show
god's love, grace and mercy to others. No, we should not be tolerant of all
actions by people but we should love them and show the truth of Christ Jesus
in that way.

Here's something I'm holding on to.
There are 2 Jewish men, in my community.
1 Corinthians 1 tells us, that the Greek seeketh after wisdom, but the Jew
requires a sign.
The blind receiving their sight, is a messianic sign, (meaning,) that the
blind receiving their sight, is proof that Jesus is, who he said he was.
When I receive my sight, it will be a sign to them, and they'll accept
Yeshua, (Jesus's name in Hebrew,) as their messiah.
Blessings, Joshua
