Jenny,
I also have Fibro Myalgia.  I have pain a lot, but try to keep moving, 
which is recommended by physical therapists.  I pray that you can have 
the surgery if you choose.  I am 40 plus pounds overweight.  I had a 
kidney transplant in 2005 and surgery may not be a good idea.  Also, I 
go to Weightwatchers and did lose a little this past week!  Yea!
I pray all will go well!
