Once again it has come around to the end of another day here in North America, or almost the end. For the rest of you it's already Tuesday. Hope that your day went well on Monday and will be the same on Tuesday.

When this poem was written, Donald Dawes, the author of it, was a blind student at Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster MA. Don't know what he's up to now, but the undersigned was pleased to talk with him over the old E-Voice telephone chat system. His contribution is entitled "Faith Is the Evidence of Things Not seen," rendered as follows:

Faith is the evidence of things not seen
Writes the apostle Paul,
But many times when life is hard
We have no faith at all.

It's easy to have faith when things go right
And all life is a song,
But the time when we should really have faith
Is when everything goes wrong.

God has made many precious promises
Which are contained in His Holy Word,
In which He assures His faithful servants
That all their prayers are heard.

But there's one thing that God says His children must have before they pray to Him:
We must all have faith that the Father above
Will grant us peace within.

And there you have it for today. Perhaps any of you who live in Massachusetts know Brother Donald. If so, maybe you could invite him to be a part of one or more of these lists. Besides, I'd like to know how he's doing personally. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, throughout this night or day, and especially in these last evil days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
