Hello and good evening to you all. I know that this message is being sent out a little early, but I have an internet gathering that may last longer than I expect it to last, so thought to post the message early. Hope you all don't mind. Anyway how was your day today? Mine was good, except that we didn't sell much at our neighborhood flea market. Oh well, as they say, better luck next time. I hope and pray that, as you retire for the night, that you will be looking forward to tomorrow when we all corporately worship God, our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in music, prayer and the breaking of the Word of Life by our pastors and/or Sunday school teachers.

Our inspirational words for this evening come from the pen of Vi B. Chevalier, a poetess whose work was featured previously. Her encouraging poem is entitled "God's Promise," and is rendered as follows:

Whenever your heart is hurting,
And you're filled with much despair,
Wherever you turn, friend, for solace,
Remember that God's always there.
Whatever fate brings without warning,
Whatever the trials that you bear,
God's love and grace will enfold you,
If you turn to Him in prayer.

For He is the rainbow above us,
Awesome for all to see,
Reflecting His promise and glory
When we seek Him implicitly.

Thanks to Ms. Chevalier's contribution for this evening. And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep you safe throughout this night and especially in these last days. This is the desire of your Christian brother, Paul.
