The Church gloriously began in 33 AD with Apostolic power of demonstration that shook the Roman Empire from center to circumference. The Apostles knew that Jesus of Nazareth was God manifest in the flesh and addressed Him as so...
HOWEVER: with the death of the Apostles and conditions that prevailed at that time the TRAGEDY OF THE AGES was set in motion and continues to this present time for the so called Christian world...
In the beginning there was a FAMINE FOR THE WORD OF GOD - to purchase a copy of the Scriptures was virtually impossible. They were all hand written and the New Testament was in the process of being written and canonized. So no one had access to the the written Scriptures to study and meditate upon.
With the APOSTLES MARTYRED OFF,, the force of maintaining and encouraging the established churches was terribly minimized...
And last, but not least - THE FLESH IS NATURALLY ANTAGONISTIC TO THE SPIRIT! The church staggered beneath such loss and tragic conditions. At first the Church was persecuted by the Temple in Jerusalem and Judaism as a whole. The real terrors began under Nero, the first Roman Emperor, when he began to persecute the Christians in about 60 AD. It continued in its severity until under Diocletian, emperor from 284 AD until 305 AD so many Christians had been murdered until the remains of their flesh was sold like hamburger in the pet shops of Rome to feed their household pets... These butcherings of the Christians took place throughout the Roman Empire in various circuses and colosseums as entertainment and sport for Roman audiences. Persecutions of this magnitude gave birth to the Catacombs of Rome; a concerted effort on the part of Christians to save their lives.
Christianity became plundered as it were by apologists who arose on the scene in defense of the Bible and its revelations. We have Apostolic Fathers, Church Fathers, Reformationists; all having lost the simple understanding that Jesus was simply Emmanuel - God with us in the Flesh - Jesus was simply the visible manifestation of the invisible God of the Old Testament ie., Colossians 1:l5 "Who is the image of the invisible God,..."In their efforts to understand Jesus Himself, they wondered who He really was. Was He God? How much God? Was He human? How much human? And the controversy raged on... In fact, the first four Church Councils in history dealt with one subject: Christology - who was Jesus Christ?WE KNOW WHAT TRADITION SAYS, BUT WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?
Who Was This Jesus?
His Love is unquestionable, its power unconquerable,
its impact unmistakable, its meaning undeniable, its mystery unexplainable, its sacrifice incomparable,
its price unimaginable, its depth immeasurable,
its absence unthinkable!

The Oneness Doctrine is the oldest Doctrine known to man, for it is as old as God Himself... Deut 6:4 Selah...
Biblically Speaking
The Mainstream Truth of the Bible declares that: There is One God! and only ONE!
This revelation and understanding has its roots in the Laws of God as given to Moses in Deuteronomy:
Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deu 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
Deu 4:35 Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him
Deu 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

The incarnation revealed the invisible Spirit of God to humanity:
Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
Luke 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
These Scriptures teach us that it is a revelation imparted by Jesus Himself...

Here we begin a chain reference throughout the Bible which declares Jesus was and is the MIGHTY GOD IN CHRIST!
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
These Scriptures teach us that GOD IS A SPIRIT (You cannot see a spirit)
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
When the Bible records "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" in Genesis 1:26, what exactly does it mean? Some have tried to say that because the Hebrew word ELOHIM (commonly translated "God' in our Bible) is a PLURAL word, that this verse must refer to the three persons of the Trinity being involved in Creation. Are they right?
Not according to reputable Bible scholars (even Trinitarian ones)! They explain it as either a grammatical structure called ;"Plurality of Majesty," or as simply denoting the fullness of divine strength and the sum of the powers displayed by God. Monarchs regularly use "Plurality of Majesty" when speaking to the public, saying "We" and "Us" while speaking only for and of themselves. This formal mode of speaking has existed for centuries... The King of Thailand does this and also Queen Elizabeth of England in our day...
Though Genesis 1:36 uses a plural personal pronoun, (Plurality of Majesty) - it should be noted that singular personal pronouns are used thereafter. Please note:
Genesis 1:27 - "...in his own image"...
Verse 29 - "...I have given..."
Verse 30 - "...I have given..."
Verse 31 - "...he had made..."
Genesis 2:2 is filled with singular personal pronouns:
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he
had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his
work which he had made.
Genesis 2:8 again uses the singular personal pronoun in reference to his having created mankind.
Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Case rested...
Mal 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

And He Came!
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. The personal pronoun 'who' refers back to Adam!
Here the Scriptures plainly declare that Adam was made in the image of Him that was to come... Who was to come? The Messiah, of course! Jesus - God in the Flesh!
The Creator looked across the 4000 year period of time and saw Christ. He fashioned Adam into that vision as surely as a sculptor looks across a room at a model and fashions his master piece... for it is written: (Adam) "...who is the figure of him that was to come."
HE BECAME LIKE US, THAT WE MIGHT BECOME LIKE HIM
No greater Love Story has ever been told nor known...

A theophany was a temporary visible manifestation of God before the incarnation:
Theopanies - Temporary appearances by God in the Old Testament occurred more than once as you will note from the following textual presentations...
________________________
Gen 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? The Judge of all the earth is God Himself... without question! Here in this setting God appeared with two ordinary angels before Abraham in the plains of Mamre - a temporary manifestation.

Gen 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there
wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the
day. Note that in verse 30 of this same chapter,
Jacob states: "...for I have seen God face to face,
and my life is preserved." Here God took on the
temporary form of an angel and wrestled with
Jacob...

Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see
four men loose, walking in the midst of the
fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of
the fourth is like the Son of God.
When the three Hebrew Children were thrown into the fiery furnace, Nebuchadnezzar saw a 'fourth' like unto the Son of God. Here again, is a temporary manifestation of God to perform the miraculous for His Children. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were unharmed - not even the smell of smoke was upon them, though the servants of the king were slain with the heat from the furnace as they threw them into the midst of the fire!

Ex 3:2 And the angel of the LORD
appeared unto him in a flame of fire
out of the midst of a bush: and he
looked, and, behold, the bush burned
with fire, and the bush was not
consumed.
Moses turned aside to see this wonder.
God in temporary Theophany manifestation spoke out of the burning bush to him.
Heb 1:1 confirms this Theophany appeance of God throughout the Old Testament in these words: Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets...
These were not permanent manifestations; but a permanent manifestation was coming... why?
________________________
Redemption could only be accomplished through the incarnation.
The incarnation would bring a permanent manifestation of Omnipotence and Deity fused with human frailty. His Name the angels announced, would be called Jesus and He would save His people from their sins...
The understanding begins:
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: This, then was the answer...
Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Jesus became flesh. To deny this is to project the spirit of Anit-Christ! See II John l:7
Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: When God manifested Himself in a permanent manifestation to this world, he did not take on himself the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham as so stated. Hebrews 10:5 outlines clearly that 'a body hast thou prepared me.' The flesh and blood of Jesus was a body prepared to house a God (Eternal Spirit) that had always been. Now we have God in the flesh, a permanent manifestation for all time!
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
When Jesus was manifested in the flesh, it was not a second person of the Godhead come down to earth. God did not so love the world that he said, "Come Son, I love them down there so much, you go down and die for them!" Such a concept is totally spurious and absurd! In light of this truth, John 3:16 now takes on significance of meaning never considered before, for in reality it can simply read: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten - (BODY) - that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God did not give the blood of his son, but rather he gave his own blood exactly as Paul wrote in Acts 20:28 "...GOD, WHICH HE HATH PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD"
If God, sent a son, the second person in the godhead, to die on the cross, then He instituted CHILD SACRIFICE. This is in total disharmony with anything Biblical concerning the nature of God. God did not send his son, a second person in the godhead to die for mankind, He came Himself in the body of Jesus Christ! The body of Jesus Christ is the only visible manifestation of God we will ever see... because God is a Spirit. The incarnation provided a 'body' for that Spirit to visibly dwell in - ie., Emmanuel, God with us in the Flesh... Colossians 2:9 states it so succinctly: "For in Him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

The child of the virgin Mary was literally the Son of God!
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Here the Scriptures declare that Mary was found with child of the Holy Ghost! What right then does the Father have to claim the 'fathership' of the child? The only explanation that can possibly be made is that the Father and the Holy Ghost are one and the same and that the body of the child is the visible manifestation of the invisible God - God with us in the flesh!

All the power and attributes of God were manifest in Jesus Christ.
John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Here the Scriptures says that God was received up into Glory, not the second person in the godhead, but God Himself!
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This passage of Scripture declares that all the fulness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus bodily! POWERFUL! and there is not way to refute this Scriptural declaration...

Jesus Christ revealed to us the Father because He was the Father.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

The Bible expressly teaches that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. When Jesus declared this statement, He made Himself God! and they tried to kill Him for it!
Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Here the Scripture is referring to Theopanies as discussed above.
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; Who was it that they heard, saw, looked upon, handled, the Word of life? None other than Jesus Christ!
1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. The Bible is declaring here that Jesus Christ is the 'true God'... Wonderful to know who He is...
1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. The Bible says that God laid down His life for us, not a son, a second person in the Godhead!
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Who was it that dwelt among us? Whose glory did we behold? - None other than Jesus Christ! Wonderful to know who He is...
________________________
At Calvary the Holy Spirit of God withdrew as His body took on our sins.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. This statement makes Him God!
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Once the Sacrificial Lamb had shed His blood, the body had served its purpose, and the Spirit of the Lord began to withdraw... the flesh cried out feeling this withdrawal in the lamentation of "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus had said as you remember, "I lay down my life and I take it again..." He is the only One that could have done such a thing; BECAUSE HE WAS GOD IN THE FLESH!
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Jesus gave His life - He gave his only begotten body. The Spirit of God did not die, it is eternal and cannot die, only the flesh He became died.
John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. Actually in view of this revelatory understanding, the Scripture could accurately read, "Therefore doth my Father (Spirit) love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Wherever in the New Testament the word Father is used, you can mentally lift out the word Father and put in Spirit and wherever the word Spirit is used, you can mentally lift out the word Spirit and put in Father... Because they are one and the same!

Powerful Old Testament witnesses to the truth of only One God and that the God of the Old Testament and the Jesus of the New Testament are one and the same!
Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Jesus said also that to Him every knee shall bow and every tongue shall swear or confess... NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Again, Jesus took this statement to Himself! NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Isa 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. NO TRINITY OF PERSONS!
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. A marvelous thing is happening - God is taking Satan's X-followers and building a Church for Himself through mercy and forgiveness and there is nothing the Devil can do about it... Has such ever been heard or ever told? The Glory of it all will shine throughout the eons of eternity....
This revelation and understanding is sweeping the Christian world with great force and effect in our day! None can stop it because it is of God as He builds the latter house and pours out the latter rain... It is glorious in our eyes... Surely Jesus will come in our day!
1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all..."

Parable application:
High Voltage - DANGER!
This simple graphic I drew to give you understanding: Have you ever driven along highways and seen high voltage lines with signs that say, Keep Out - Danger? Most of us have... If a wire was run directly from the high voltage lines to your house or any house, it would blow it up! So they come and set a pole near your house and hang upon it a 'Transformer' - a wire is run from the High Voltage line to the transformer and the power is reduced - a wire is then run from the 'Transformer' into your home and you are able to enjoy a power that will not harm you...
________________________
If God had come into this world in all of His Power and Glory, He would have consumed us... But a 'body' of flesh and blood became a 'Transformer' to reduce the Power! Jesus came and He was hung upon a tree. In so doing, He became our 'Transformer' and we can look upon Him, Hear Him, Touch Him, Handle Him, and Enjoy His Power that will neither harm nor consume us... Greater love hath no man than this, that He would lay down His life for his friends... The Greatest Love Story Every Told!!!
Reduced Voltage - REDEMPTION!
Case rested...
