Yeah, Maureen I am glad you chimed in. I have had same. Now I do
believe there is somecredibility to that as the woman with the issue
of blood was healed after touching jesus clothes. Also, what about the
woman bowed over with likely arthritis. She too was healed. Does God
give us sickness, no. However, in some cases, and this is documented
in Job, he does allow it. My question is how long though? I, myself,
have been sick with one ailment or another, for years. However, this
is partly due to my circumstances of having no insurance, limited
coverage from the government, living in a rural area with limited
transportation, limited nutrition because for some reason I never can
seem to get Food Stamps/I live with fluctuating numbers of people, ,
stress, stress, a possible incomplete miscarriage, and so on and so
on. Do I believe I am possessed of the devil, no I certainly do not.
Did God allow this, perhaps. But, I know and have faith in that if I
had access to proper, adequate, and continuous consistent health care
options, I would get better in a reasonable amount of time. You have
to give some mercy though because they are really trying to help and
believe in what they are doing. It takes great courage to ask someone
to pray for them and actually lay your hands on them. I was brought up
in the Catholic faith and you are not encouraged to do this openly. I
had a good, very patient, devoted, and committed friend and mother
who taught me how, encouraged and fully expected me to do so.

God bless yall,
Danielle, who misses her Mother and Sister in Christ very very much
Now I'm on my own.
