[Flagdu] A new Member

Welcome Tesse!  Where near Tampa do you live.  I would like to get to meet
you and am glad to see you on the FLAGDU list serv.  I am the Vice President
of FLAGDU.  Currently, I do not have a dog; however, I spoke with Freedom
Guide Dogs yesterday regarding news on my next dog.  Freedom has crossed a
new breed called a Lollie - a mix of the collie and lab.  It is my
understanding that the first litter has the body of the coliie, with the
color of the black lab, with a few white spots on feet or other parts of the
body.  It is my understanding they are tall which suits me and my height.  I
prefer a  tall dog for many reasons.  I am in hopes of training with my new
Lollie in the spring.

I am also the president of the Human Services division of the National
Federation of the Blind and the field you are in would be a welcome to the
division.  We also have a list serv you may consider joining.  I look
forward to your involvement with FLAGDU and am in hopes you can attend our
state convention which will be in January and this year in Tampa.  Our
annual FLAGDU meeting will be held at this time.  Please feel free to reach

Hello all!

My name is Tessa and I have just joined this list. I am a guide dog user
living near the city of Tampa Florida. I got my first dog a little over a
year ago from the Seeing Eye school. She is a black lab named Dazzle. I am
currently looking for employment though I am trained as a licensed massage
therapist. However, I do have customer service experience. I put this out
there in case of anyone knowing anything about possible job openings or if
my skills could be useful to the group in some capacity.

I am interested in learning more about this organization and I hope that I
will be able to help in its farther success.
