October is both Disability Awareness month and National Bullying Prevention Month.

Also, our RMTC team is planning, as the topic of one of the Working With the Experts (WWE) statewide professional development weekends, to discuss Social/Emotional Issues: Abuse and Bullying - Prevention and Response.  They are bringing in experts from around the nation. It looks like this weekend will be December 3-4. You'll see more about this when all the details are confirmed.
