Public Invited to View FSDB Open House Live Online

St. Augustine, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2011) — The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind invites the public to view the school’s open house performances live online Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. via LIVESTREAM.
The event, which is anticipated to be a full house due to area school participation, is hosted by the Parent Services Office and is intended for those who are interested in learning more about the school and its programs and services.
The event includes performances by the school’s OuttaSight Band, a musical performance group that brings together talented blind/visually impaired student musicians, and Dance Troupe, a group of deaf/hard of hearing students who perform signed interpretation for songs. There will also be anOrientation and Mobility demonstration by students and staff of the Blind Department.
