Want to help ensure that Maryland's new accessible voting system will be easy to use and earn $80 for providing your feedback?

The University of Baltimore Usability Lab is recruiting blind and low vision individuals of voting age to test the usability of an accessible voting machine. This machine is being considered by the Maryland State Board of Elections for possible use in Maryland elections starting in 2016. It is vitally important that blind and low vision voters provide feedback on the accessibility and usability of this machine.

Testing will take place at the University of Baltimore Usability Lab April 23-30, 2014. If you would like to participate, please contact the lab:

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
