Since I am not finding a solution, I will check everything you suggested.
However, where the problem seems to be is that JAWS appears to cause space
to be added at the top of the page.  Without me doing anything except
changing screen readers, the position that is shown for the first line
decreases by a half inch or so and all three sets of data fit on a page when
I switch to NVDA or Window-Eyes.  Margin settings do not seem to change.
Again, I will follow up on your suggestions, though, as this is likely
caused by something that is not obvious.

OK, now I have truly read the issue. When copying / pasting there is an
option to keep source formatting or use document formatting. I wonder if
somehow JAWS is effecting this value. Try looking at the merged in data
alook for font size and type and see if they are different between the
document created using JAWS and the document created using WindowEyes.
 
You might also look at the style being used on the merged in data and the
area around it. Don't forget that sometimes Word will try to change style
based on keyboard input for example from normal to list item.

Steve, I don't know the answer to your question. I did see one thing 
that you could change, as a test, in quick settings, and see what it 
does.  Go to quick settings, when in word, insert-v then down arrow 
to layout, simple is the default, screen is the other choice.  I 
don't know what it will do... but worth a try.

work, this document is generated from a mail merge and I am working with
some other documents including mailing labels that have exhibited something
similar.  Therefore, I need to get to the bottom of why the screen reader
being used should affect this.  This is using the Print View and Word 2016
and JAWS 18 but I observed some of this with JAWS 17 and Word 2013 as well.
Any thoughts?
