Sharon Luka was introduced to the NFB of Kansas around 1973 where she met many other blind people who encouraged her in education and alternative cooking and cane travel. She is now the state secretary. Sharon is well known for baking pumpkin bread for state convention annually. She enjoys knitting and swimming. Sharon also performs and has taught music. Sharon thanks the NFB for its educational seminars, encouraging activities and great annual conventions.
