Hi Mary:

What a problem.  I once had a similar problem and the answer lay in the MS 
OUTLOOK view menu.  There are some different ways that OUTLOOK displays 
messages.  I would guess, knowing nothing, that your problem may reside 
within the way that MS OUTLOOK's settings are currently set.  My wife, light 
dependent as she is, has had similar difficulties and I've worked them out 
through the View menu.  I'm not sure at all how I resolved the issue though, 
as I just played around until it worked again.
