Hi all,

I know you deal with paperwork a lot.

If I volunteer at the organization I want to, papers have come up.

How do you fill out forms? Do you use Ms Word? The form I’d work with would likely be a template, and I do not know if jaws will read it.
I would be an information and referral specialist, which means I answer the phone and refer clients to the appropriate department or simply give them info they seek. For instance, if they need a lawyer who charges lower fees or has a payment plan, I would refer them to such a service.

What do you do about having clients you see fill out paperwork? I am not encountering this yet, just have to deal with a form to tally up what sort of calls women’s center receives. But I might deal with this in other jobs. Do you have a sighted assistant tell you where to sign and use a signature guide?

After paperwork is filled out by everyone, you and your clients, how do you keep track of it? how is it organized so you know what it is? I imagine labeling every paper would be quite tedious.
I would guess you place papers in binders or file cabinents.

BTW, I am a braille reader, but also read large print and see colors. so color labels may help me.

Thanks.

Ashley
