[humanser] volunteers

Car,

Thanks so much for that compliment! Honestly, I don't have wealth in terms
of money, and I have seen what I think are the good and bad sides of wealth.
There are people I know who openly make comments about those who do not have
the money they have, and they look down on them. My uncle has done well,
and now wants to start a charter school in Naples, FL where his condo fee is
$5,000.00 per month. He is with it mentally and 94 years old. When my dad
died, he came up here and he and I did the funeral and so on. The newspaper
was running articles on how the city mayor wanted to begin charging us for
trash pick up, and that many couldn't afford that. My uncle said, "Let them
go back to where they came from." and my reply was, "Where would you like me
to go." He also would not set foot in Family Dollar, and made remarks about
my buying mostly groceries on sale. On the other hand, he has given me
material stuff to help me survive a bit better.

Best,

Sandy
