[humanser] I am a counselor in a nonprofit agency and have been using Clinicians Desk Top (CDT) for seven months. This software is totally inaccessible, except that a state tech consultant created a menu so that I can click on items, such as the assessment or the authorization, by clicking menu items. CDT is so unstable, and delivers so many error messages for any keystrokes it does not like, that I am seeking a new position. I'm now interviewing for a position in a clinic that contracts for Michigan Community Mental Health.

I have two questions: Do any listers use Clinicians Desk Top with major 
success? What charting software packages work well and which should I 
not bother with? Does anyone know specifically about Community Mental 
Health software for Michigan.
