Hi All,
I am using Bob and my laptop for the first time in Florida and I can't
open attachments either. Can someone explain, step by simple step, what I
need to do r to remedy the problem. Remember my computer skills are very
basic.
                          Cathy

Thank you for your suggestion! It didn't work, but it encouraged me to
explore further. I think I've just figured it out! Once I'm in the file I
can tab down and find a place where it says "Enable." When I hit Enter on
that, I can read the file with JAWS. Who knows why this happens, but at
least now I can read attachments again!

Debbie

Two things: I never saw the solution to the problem on Il-Talk, and I've
never had this problem. So, I shouldn't jump into the fray since I might
not know what I'm talking about. Hey, whom am I kidding? I don't know what
I'm talking about.

But I notice in Windows 7 ribbons, as you go across, there is "review."
The down arrow gets you into the lower ribbon, and there there is a
"protect, sub menu." Maybe there's something there. That's when you have a
Word document opened.
