[IL-Talk] 2019 Teaching Excellence Award

Has your child had a teacher who wildly exceeded your expectations, going
far beyond the call of duty to ensure that your child is fully included in
all class activities? Do you look back with undying appreciation to a TVI
or classroom teacher who believed in you and helped you achieve your
highest potential? Do you know a teacher whose skill, creativity, and
dedication truly make a positive difference?



If you answer yes to any of these questions, here is an opportunity for you
to say thank you. Each year the Illinois Association of Blind Students
(IABS) presents two Excellence in Teaching awards to Illinois teachers who
have worked with blind children or adults. The 2019 awards will be
presented on Saturday, October 19, at the National Federation of the Blind
convention in Springfield, Illinois. For more information or to make a
nomination, please see the attached form.



All nominations must be received no later than September 2, 2019. If you
