>Position Summary:
>This position works under the supervision of the
>Associate Dean of Students and provides support
>services to students with disabilities.
>General Responsibilities:
>1. Coordinate and schedule interpreters for
>deaf/hard of hearing students for all campuses;
>2. Serve as the primary contact for students with disabilities;

>Minimum Qualifications:
> Masterâs Degree in rehabilitation
>counseling, counselingg, social work,
>psychology, education, or a related area from accredited institution;
> Ability to communicate effectivvely, both orally and in writing
> Sensitiviity to and an understanding of the
>diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and
>ethnic backgrounds of the two-year college student;
> Customer and solutions oriented with a strong
>commitment too customer service, while
>maintaining compliance with policies and ADA guidelines.
> Commitment to the mission of a commprehensive
>two-year college and an understanding of the
>different components of a student services operation.

>Preferred Qualifications
> Experience servving students in a two-year college environment;
>⢠Two (2) years of experience working in a
>higher education setting as a counselor or with disability services; and;
>⢠Knowledgeable of assessment measures
>(academic, vocational, psycho-social) and accommodation protocol;
> Demonsstrated ability to address equity gaps
>within courses and classrooms, as related to
>serving students with disabilities;
>⢠Knowledge of community social agencies,
