Your Impact:
We are looking for a passionate, innovative, strategic individual to
lead the Global Accommodations Program, ensuring we are enabling teams
to provide
consistent, efficient, and effective accommodations to employees and
job candidates.
Specifically you will:
• Drive and lead the Global Accommodations Strategy across AMER, EMEA,
LATAM and APAC
• Build and foster key stakeholder relationships with Human Resources
(HR) and the business to align on delivery of the Accommodations
program priorities
• Own the Global Accommodations Policy; adapt and refine working with
HR, and HR Compliance, in Region
• Establish a reporting cadence with leadership to analyse data around
accessibility gaps and establish a plan with the business to address
in partnership with HRC
• Use metrics and storytelling to communicate risks, trends and themes
to the leadership
• Partner with HR to address non-compliance with State; Federal and
Global regulations
• Manage the the partnership with our accommodations vendors and the
scheduling of captioning of all large employee events
• Create and maintain a resource of what reasonable accommodations
options exist.
• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries from internal
stakeholders on overall accommodation program issues.
• Develop, maintain and communicate policies, procedures related to
Accommodations and set up an annual review process to ensure they are
kept up to date.
• Deliver training to line managers and the Human Resources Business
Partner population on Accommodations policy and process changes.
• Support the Global Accessibility Compliance, Sr. Manager with
employee communications and training content and delivery related to
the Accommodations Program
• Maintain and make recommendations for the accommodations budget
• Align and manage job coaches for employees with disabilities
• Maintain strict confidentiality in verbal and written communications
The Person Most Successful in this Role Will:
• Have a commitment to, understanding of and sensitivity to the
multiple facets of disability inclusion and accessibility
• Have experience developing partnerships internally and with
third-party organizations
• Have experience with Human Resources principles and practices as
they relate to accommodations
• Have knowledge of Federal, State, and Local accommodations laws and
regulations
• Have the know how to track and report on program metrics
Desired Skills:
• Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Apps
• Strong collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly
connected partnership groups across multiple stakeholder groups, and
with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong innovation,
creative and problem-solving skills
• See the big picture, while having a keen detail orientation
• Don’t be afraid to fail – there will be things you don’t get right initially
• PHR and/or CPDM certification
Role Requirements:
• At least 1-3 years experience with accommodations in a corporate setting
• At least 1-3 years program management, project management, or human
resources experience
• Equivalent relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree
