CALL FOR TEACHER OF BLIND/LOW VISION STUDENTS
The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois (NFBI) seeks a certified teacher of blind/low vision students to serve as co-teacher in our 2022 summer BELL(r) Academy (Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning). NFBI will host two BELL Academies this summer, a two-week day program in Chicago and a week-long residential program in Springfield.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The co-teacher will:
*         Work with blind/low vision children ages four to twelve and their parents
*         Plan lessons and activities based on the BELL curriculum
*         Incorporate blind volunteers into the daily program
*         Conduct twice weekly field trips
*         Complete a detailed evaluation at the close of the program

Dates:     Chicago BELL, July 18-July 29, 2022
  Springfield BELL: August 1-August 5, 2022
Salary:    $4,000
