This position will be filled at either the State Program Administrator or State Program Administrator Intermediate level depending on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position will have the flexibility to telecommute, work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to complete a telework agreement.
This position provides professional advisory and consultation services to state agency SEMA4 HR users regarding state contracts/plans, HR practices, administrative procedures and statutes as they relate to employee job records, pay rates and insurance coverage. This position partners with transactions officers and state agency staffing representatives at multiple levels of expertise; provides technical and functional expertise to promote understanding and consistency in processing transactions to ensure data integrity within the SEMA4 system; works to identify agency needs, training needs, system and procedural discrepancies, and develops a plan to resolve.
Duties include:
* SEMA4 transaction subject matter expert to multiple stakeholders in monitoring, auditing and training to maintain accuracy/integrity of HR data.
* Respond to insurance issues and problems as the SEMA4 HR and coding expert so that HR transactions and benefits administration processing generates appropriate levels of insurance eligibility for employees
* Verify and approve grievances, arbitration and worker's compensation settlement award payments.
* Participate in salary mass update projects for salary administration of approved contracts/plans.
* Provide transactional guidance to state agency HR Staff.
