As an Inclusive Design Specialist, you will oversee the development,
execution, evaluation, and continued elaboration of a comprehensive program
of inclusive design across the Institution. You will also perform the
following duties: 

*	Develops a curriculum based on the principles of inclusive design
for Smithsonian staff, in particular those staff who are responsible for
exhibition design and fabrication, including digital interactives or public
program design and execution.  
*	Uses the designed curriculum, trains SI staff in the principles of
inclusive design, teaching some classes personally as well as engaging
outside speakers who are experts in the field. 
*	Continuously updates and refines the inclusive design training
program (IDTP) with the eventual goal of creating a certificate program in
inclusive design. 
*	Provides technical review, assistance, and consultation to
facilities staff and to museum staff during the SD 410 process. 
*	Monitors the use of the Smithsonian Accessibility Innovation Fund
(SAIF)s, reviews unit-submitted reports, and compiles a comprehensive annual
report for submission to the Director, Access Smithsonian, and senior
Smithsonian management.
