>    * Responsible for basic needs/safety of students who stay in the 
> dormitory facility at the McDowell Rehabilitation Center for the 
> blind and visually impaired; Enforces and applies agency and Center 
> policies/procedures; Monitors student activity.
>    * Documents and completes reports for assigned shifts, detailing 
> any information related to student or safety issues occurring 
> during associated shift. Inspects dormitory and dormitory rooms for 
> cleanliness and safety.
>    * Prepare consumer breakfast; Performs duties needed for 
> maintenance of operation, including  maintaining a clean and safe 
> area for students.
>    * Contacts on-call manager in case of emergency, or when urgent 
> assistance/guidance are needed. Maintains First-Aid and CPR 
> certifications. Answers telephones, and attends to dormitory 
> entrance. Maintains constant watch for potential hazards including 
> fire and other life-threatening situations. Performs emergency 
> maintenance duties.
