This is a unique opportunity to provide HR support and consultation to one of our HR customers - the Department of Human Rights - while working in a team environment that supports the Department of Administration, Minnesota Management & Budget, and 40+ small agencies, boards and councils.  This position will provide consultative services to the Department of Human Rights in the areas of recruitment, classification, selection, compensation and benefits, contract interpretation, staffing, reorganization, and related human resource services. This position also consults, advises and recommends solutions to employees and the Department of Human Rights leadership and management on a range of employee relations matters; performance management; labor relations, legal and policy compliance; analyses of complaints/grievances on employee and labor relations matters; participates in the research and analyzing of information to create, review and implement agency employment policies and procedures; ensures application of personnel rules, contract language, compensation plans, state and federal laws, Minnesota statutes, and all required rules, regulations, standards and procedures.
