The MNsure HR Business Partner serves as a subject matter expert to managers, supervisors and employees in a wide range of human resource management areas and ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements, policies, and state and federal laws.

This position provides professional consulting and analysis in the areas of employee recruiting, employee and labor relations, classification and compensation, and performance management. The position partners with managers and administrators throughout the agency to ensure organizational effectiveness through proper alignment of staffing, processes, structure and culture.

Responsibilities include:

  *   Lead and provide expertise in full cycle recruitment process and implement strategies that strengthen MNsure's ability to attract, assess, select, onboard, and retain talent.
  *   Manage and develop the recruitment process and implement strategies that strengthen MNsure's ability to attract and retain talent.
  *   Manage labor relations activities so that effective working relationships between management and labor are established and maintained; conduct MNsure and DHS-wide activities as requested.
  *   Maintain a job classification plan for MNsure so that the classification plan accurately reflects the total range of positions and that similar positions are treated in a manner that reflects the differences between them.
