As the Investigations Director you will direct the investigators of the Office of Professional Accountability (OPA), which conducts investigations of allegations of serious employee misconduct, violations of laws, department policies, sexual harassment, racial discrimination, general harassment, and any executive level requests for investigations. Responsibilities include:

  *   Provide supervisory leadership of OPA to ensure complete, objective, and independent reviews and/or investigations of allegations of staff misconduct, illegal discrimination (including sexual harassment and racial discrimination), and general harassment are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
  *   Exercise supervisory authority so that applicable labor agreements and plans are equitably administered, and direct reports will effectively perform assigned job duties to achieve the annual objectives of the section.
  *   Provide consultation and subject matter expertise on policy creation, revision, and implementation; employee engagement and training; and to Department leadership on investigative or employee misconduct matters.
