Manage the grant contracting operation within DEED in accordance with Minnesota Statutes and applicable Federal Laws. Provide policy direction to the department's management, and specific granting instruction and assistance to the indirect and direct grant contracting personnel at DEED relating State laws, the Department of Administration's Office Grant Management policies, MMB and budget encumbrance mandates, and DEED internal policies and procedures. Position requires extensive knowledge of complex granting laws, policies and guidelines outlined by multiple governing bodies for contractual and agreement involving all types of grants and all other contracts assigned.
