Job Summary
This position ensures timely completion of customer audio transcription orders by coordinating and monitoring volunteer readers and assignments. Responsibilities include: administering oral reading tests, coordinating and monitoring recording assignments and recording activities of volunteers, keeping detailed and accurate records of volunteer recording production and progress of transcription orders, ensuring timely completion of customer orders, researching and keeping up to date volunteer resources, recording selected print materials into audio, troubleshooting recording assignment and equipment issues, working closely with engineering and the accessible media coordinator, and working closely with the audio quality coordinator to enhance the volunteer recording training, experience and skill-building. Leads volunteer recruitment efforts, leads the writing and production of the SSB volunteer newsletter, InTouch, and assists in volunteer manual updating and training.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
To receive credit for your education and experience, your resume should clearly describe how you meet each minimum and/or preferred qualification listed, including dates of employment.
One (1) year of experience with project management managing multiple priories with competing deadlines.
Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:
Communication skills to interact with customers and volunteers.
Written communication skills to publish monthly newsletters.
Customer service skills to interact with the public and volunteers.
Proficiency in computer systems such as Microsoft Applications to maintain a database.
Experience establishing and maintaining records.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English or other related field as determined by the agency.
Experience working with volunteers.
