Do you love helping to design and deliver high-quality digital experiences?

The National Institute on Aging’s (NIA’s) Office of Communications and Public Liaison (OCPL)<https://www.nia.nih.gov/research/office-associate-director-oad#ocpl> is hiring a Technical Information Specialist (GS 12/13) in the Web and Design Services Branch! Our team oversees NIA's public-facing websites and content, digital accessibility, and in-house graphic design services. We are looking for candidates who are organized, creative, passionate about accessibility, and who have experience supporting federal websites to join a fast-paced, collaborative team that values innovation, user experience, customer service, and designing exceptional digital tools and services (like the Alzheimers.gov virtual assistant<https://www.alzheimers.gov/> we just released).

The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance on Section 508 and digital accessibility; supporting updates and enhancements to NIA’s websites and intranet site; and will help manage projects; coordinate with stakeholders, and conduct reporting. The position is telework-eligible but not remote; candidates must be in the Montgomery County, MD, area.
