Our Hiring Process

At Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), we know your time is valuable, and we’re committed to making our hiring process as clear and straightforward as possible.

When you apply for a position with us, our human resources team carefully reviews your application. If you meet the minimum qualifications based on your application, resume, and cover letter, your information is forwarded to the hiring manager for consideration. Hiring managers then review applications and decide who to invite for interviews or assessments based on how well candidates meet the minimum qualifications. In cases of high interest, they also consider the preferred qualifications.

We keep you informed via email throughout the process, so you always know where you stand. If selected as a finalist, we’ll guide you through the final steps, including background and reference checks. On average, our hiring process averages 2-3 months from the time you apply to the time you could potentially start your new role.
