The Court of Administrative Hearings (CAH) is seeking to hire a Human Resources Supervisor 4. CAH is the largest of three Executive Branch Courts with over seventy-five full-time equivalents located in St. Paul and Duluth. CAH, with 34 judges, is comparable in size to the Ramsey County District Court with 32 judges. CAH has exclusive, trial-level jurisdiction over 200 unique areas of administrative law and workers' compensation. This means the decisions of CAH are appealable to higher-level appellate courts (Minnesota Court of Appeals, Minnesota Supreme Court, and Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals) and not at trial-level district courts.

Core responsibilities:

Full-service human resources management including staffing, recruitment, classification, and compensation

Supervision / staff development

Subject matter expert in Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, American's Disability Act, Family Medical Leave, and Workers' Compensation



Policy development, strategic staffing plan, and provide strategic planning and consultation to agency executive leadership
