The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is seeking a creative, mission-driven Human Resources Director (HRD) who believes deeply in our mission, vision, and values and brings innovative thinking to public-sector human resources. This role provides strategic leadership and comprehensive human resources services to support DCYF's mission, strategies, and work objectives.

In this position the HRD will ensure sound, and forward-thinking HR programs and practices across all functional areas, including recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits administration, personnel and payroll transactions, labor relations, performance management, workforce planning, employee development and training, safety and wellness, and workers' compensation.

The successful candidate will lead with equity at the forefront, advancing alignment and measurable progress toward statewide and agency diversity, equity, and inclusion goals through creative and innovative strategies, while fostering a culture that supports and empowers those who serve children, youth, and families.
