The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition and Classification Supervisor to lead a team of Human Resource (HR) professionals in delivering comprehensive consultation and services in job design, recruitment, staffing, compensation, and employee retention. This role is pivotal in advancing DEED's mission by managing the full-cycle hiring process, driving process improvements, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across the agency. The Supervisor will collaborate with agency leadership, hiring managers, and HR staff to recruit and retain a talented workforce, oversee classification and compensation analysis, and implement strategic initiatives for both high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.

As a member of the HR Leadership team, the Talent Acquisition and Classification Supervisor will develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies, analyze workforce data, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. The position requires robust leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as expertise in HR best practices and industry trends. The successful candidate will champion inclusive behaviors, maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to DEED's reputation as an employer of choice.
