This is a temporary unclassified position expected to last up to two years.

As the Classification Analyst you will be responsible for fulfilling a wide-range of classification-related duties for DCYF agency-wide.  In this position you will work collaboratively as part of the Recruitment and Classification team within the Human Resource Office. The temporary consultant will help meet with business managers and supervisors to map ownership lines, document them, and help ensure future classification requests are grounded in accurate, well-defined structures.

This position will:

  *   Conduct job and organizational analysis
  *   Lead efforts in work-force planning
  *   Strategic planning with hiring managers
  *   Special projects and advising hiring managers and staff on topics related to classification, organizational development and current/future state organizational structure.
