Hi all,

This is a reminder that the next Keystone Chapter meeting of the NFB of Pennsylvania will be held one week from today on Saturday, October 14, at the normal time of 10:15AM and normal location of 1500 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, in the second floor board room.

We will be collecting donations to help the Texas affiliate of the NFB with Hurricane Harvey disaster relief, so please bring cash or checks made out to “Keystone Chapter, NFB of PA”. The chapter will combine all the donations, add an additional amount, and then pass it along to the Pennsylvania affiliate to be combined with other donations and sent to Texas.

Please bring a “brown bag” lunch (or any color bagged lunch) to the meeting so we can all eat together and play games afterwards. If you cannot bring a lunch, there are a few places relatively close to the meeting site where you can grab food after the meeting and bring it back to the meeting room, but the simplest option is to bring something to eat for lunch to the meeting. This will be a fun time of sharing and getting to know each other, so don’t miss it. If you have portable, accessible games, please bring them.

Also, if you requested candy at the September meeting to sell at the NFB of PA convention (November 3 through 5 in State College) or anywhere else you can sell it, please plan to pick it up after the meeting. If you cannot make it to the meeting, please contact Harriet Go or Lynn Heitz as soon as possible to make other arrangements for picking up the candy. If you need contact information, please let us know.

Finally, please send a text to Marsha Drenth at 469-583-1975 if you would like to receive text updates and chapter reminders. This is another great way we can all stay informed about any last-minute changes or important information. When you send a text to Marsha, please include your name so we know which mobile numbers belong to which people.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!

Warmly,
Joe Drenth and Marsha Drenth, First Vice President
