Good afternoon everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm!

I wanted to reach out to alert you of three audio described performances
happening throughout the remainder of February.

First, the Wilma Theatre is offering an audio described performance of My
Mama and the Full Scale Invasion.
This is a play that explores the very serious topic of the Russian
Ukrainian war, from a perspective of thoughtfulness and comedy.
The play will take place this coming Sunday February 18th, at 2:00 PM, but
plan to arrive early for pre-show notes.
The audio description will be provided by Felicia Teter. She is a new audio
describer, and this is her first public performance.
I have helped her throughout the training process and can assure you that
she is fantastic!
Read more about the play and get tickets at the following link:

Next, we have two performances at the Hedgerow Theatre Company.
This coming Sunday February 18th at 2:00 PM, we have an audio described
performance of Shirley Valentine.
This will be described by my friend and colleague Gina Pisasale.
She is also newly trained by the Audio Description Learning Network and
this will be her second audio described performance.
I had the privilege of training her inn audio description and can assure
you that she is excellent as well!
More information about the play can be found at the link below. While the
play begins at 2:00 PM, there will be a sensory tour at 1:15 PM, so please
plan to arrive no later than 1:00 PM.

Finally, on the following Sunday February 25th, there will be an audio
described performance of The New Electric Ballroom.
This will be audio described by Nicole Sardella.
Nicole has been a pioneer in the audio description field in Philadelphia
and has over 10 years of experience.
While the show begins at 2:00 PM, there will also be a sensory tour at 1:15
PM, so plan to arrive at 1:00 PM.
